Goals for 2025
goalsNow that I've been training consistently for about six months and have a baseline of health/fitness, I'm ready to set some goals for the next year.
Approximately one year from now, here are the composition and biomarker targets I'd like to achieve:
- Get total cholesterol under 145 mg/dL
- Get LDL cholesterol under 75 mg/dL
- Get HDL cholesterol over 40 mg/dL
- Achieve between 14%-16% body fat
- Weigh between 164-168 lbs
For reference, here are my most recent metrics:
- Total cholesterol: 151 mg/dL
- LDL cholesterol: 96 mg/dL
- HDL cholesterol: 36 mg/dL
- Body fat: 18%-20%
- Weight: 170-172 lbs
To achieve this, I need to:
- Be consistent with a diet that is 70%-80% plant-based
- Minimize cheat meals
- Continue to focus on good sleep
- Continue to focus on stress management
- Stay consistent with my exercise routine, but introduce new stimulus
- Increase volume and intensity of my training gradually
- Continue to focus on recovery
